Captain Chris Duba started his fishing experience at the age of six years old, on this actual boat with the original owner, Fred Morini and later deckhand on the then named “New Holiday”. Chris changed the name in honor of his father, John Duba and also in remembrance of Fred Morini to the “Silver Fox”.
Chris left the business to pursue an airline career and captained 737’s for seven years and now flies 747’s on overseas routes. Chris returned to his first love of party boat sport fishing and ran his first charter boat in San Diego in 1985 for sharks and tuna. Chris then ran a six- pack boat in the early nineties in San Francisco and ran private boats in Mexico. Chris recently had the opportunity to own /operate the boat he started on and now looks forward to fishing with you out of the Berkeley Marina and San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf.
Chris has returned to his original roots right here in the San Francisco Bay to get back to fishing in the waters he loves so well. Chris believes in having a good time fishing as well as a successful trip!
